Purposes and legal basis

Managing your booking, stay and communication with you, including WhatsApp support. Legal basis: performance of the accommodation contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Traveler registration and transmission of your identifying data to the Ministry of the Interior SES.Hospedajes system and, in Catalonia, to the Mossos d'Esquadra. Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR; Royal Decree 933/2021). Providing this data is a legal and contractual requirement. Without it we cannot complete your check in or the stay.

Compliance with accounting and tax obligations (invoicing). Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Sending marketing communications, if you have given express consent. Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Recipients

We do not share your data with third parties, except: providers of payment, booking management or maintenance services, acting as processors under contract; State security forces (via SES.Hospedajes and the Mossos d'Esquadra), in compliance with a legal obligation; and the tax authority where legally required.

International transfers

We communicate with you via WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), which may involve a data transfer outside the European Economic Area. Meta applies the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission as an adequate safeguard for that transfer.

Retention period

We keep your data for the duration of the contractual relationship and afterwards for the legally required periods: 6 years for accounting and tax records (Commercial Code), and the period set by traveler registration rules for data sent to SES.Hospedajes.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection, and withdraw your consent at any time when processing is based on it, by emailing info@luxurycubelles.com. We respond within a maximum of one month and may ask for documentation to verify your identity.

Complaints

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or, in Catalonia, with the Catalan Data Protection Authority (apdcat.gencat.cat).

Automated decisions

We do not carry out automated decisions or profiling with your data.
